Over 27,000 hacked eCommerce sites detected last month. Criminals are adapting attacks.
Good day! This year has seen a HUGE rise in the number of hacked websites we've detected around the world. This last month we detected over 27,000 HACKED eCOMMERCE SITES! We've also seen the criminal approach change and adapt - as the number of hacked sites grows, the type of malware being detected on those sites changes. Digital skimmers sitting on the checkout page were the preferred criminal approach during the last year or so. Right now, Digital Loader malware is far outnumbering digital skimmers - what's happening? |

Criminals are using multi-stage attacks to evade detection They infect sites with innocuous loader code, which pulls malicious skimmer code into the website visitor's browser during the checkout process to steal the payment card data. This is a major trend that the industry needs to be aware of - and checking their sites for. Do you run a Digital Agency? If you run a digital agency or manage eCommerce websites, we can help you to proactively stay ahead of the criminals. Get in touch if you'd like to know more - it's free and can only help.
