पहले जो गरीब लोग काम के लिए एक राज्य से दुसरे राज्य में जाते थे, उनके पास राशन कार्ड होने के बावजूद राशन उपलब्ध नहीं हो पाता था। सरकार को ऐसे गरीब लोगों की बहुत चिंता थी क्यूंकि इन लोगों को सस्ते राशन की सबसे ज्यादा जरुरत होती है। इसलिए सरकार ने इस एक देश एक राशन कार्ड योजना को 1 जनवरी 2021 तक लागू करने का लक्ष्य रखा था। पर कोरोना वायरस के चलते अब ये योजना 2022 तक लागू करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। अब एक राष्ट्र एक राशन कार्ड योजना का महत्व कोविड-19 महामारी के चलते और बढ़ गया है।  जैसे की आप सभी लोग जानते है कि कोरोना वायरस एक भयंकर महामारी है जिसकी वजह से पूरे देश में राशन की समस्या बनी हुई है। जिसका असर रोजाना कमाने खाने वाले लोगो पर पड़ रहा है। इस समस्या को कम करने के लिए सरकार ने 26 सितम्बर 2021 से एक राष्ट्र एक राशन कार्ड योजना में 31 राज्य जुड़ गए है और यहाँ पर एक देश एक राशन कार्ड योजना को लागू कर दिया गया है।    एक देश एक राशन कार्ड योजना 2021 का उद्देश्य 1) एक राष्ट्र एक राशन कार्ड योजना का उद्देश्य है कि देश में फर्जी राशन कार्ड को रोकने में मदद मिलेगी और देश में चल रहे भ्रष्टाचार को रोका जा सकेगा।  2) इस योजना के लागू होने के बाद यदि कोई व्यक्ति एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान पर जाता है तो उसे राशन लेने में कोई दिक्कत नहीं होगी।  3) इस एक देश एक राशन कार्ड योजना का लाभ प्रवासी मजदूरो को सबसे ज्यादा होगा। इन लोगो को पूरी खाद्य सुरक्षा मिलेगी।  4) केंद्र सरकार इस योजना को समय रहते ही पूरे देश के कई राज्यों में शुरू करना चाहती है जिससे ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग इस योजना का लाभ उठा सके। एक राष्ट्र एक राशन कार्ड योजना 2021 में आवेदन कैसे करे ?
