This continues for over 45 seconds until the convoy moves past the people, and we see Bhagwant Mann dancing on top of his car. The video clip has been shared on Twitter by Tarun Chugh, the National General Secretary of the BJP. Each of these tweets insinuated that the video is recent by referring to Mann as "Punjab CM". The hooliganism displayed by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is only a revelation of his true personality. Punjabis are known for their rich culture, grace & social skills. Old video Multiple users commented or quoted Tarun Chugh's tweet to point out that the video clip is old. We have attached some of these replies in the gallery below. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Journalist Bhagwant Singh Rupal also quote tweeted Traun's tweet to point out that the video clip is old and shared a link to a Facebook post from 2019. In the video clip, we can clearly see that some people are waving black flags at Mann which purportedly angered him. Below we have highlighted the flags seen in the video clip. We contacted a local journalist who told us that the video is from the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. Bhagwant Mann was greeted with black flags in multiple rallies and each time he faced such opposition, he allegedly increased the music and danced his way out. The journalist also shared with us a video report where we can see Bhagwant Mann do the same when faced with black flags at a rally in May 2019, during the Lok Sabha Elections. We also independently found another video of this incident shared on Facebook by singer Jassi Jasraj in May 2019. https://www.facebook.com/JasrajJassi/videos/2253266431423621 Another local journalist also confirmed the same. He told us that the video is from 2019 and was recorded in Ghanaur Kalan village of Sangrur district of Punjab. The journalist also told us that Jassi Jasraj, who shared the video on Facebook, was also contesting from Sangrur. This can be independently verified through various news reports. Alt News could not independently verify when and where this video was recorded, however, it is safe to conclude that the video is not of a recent incident.
