Several users have amplified this clip, claiming that the three young men — all of them Muslims — were supposedly apprehended and beaten up for harassing schoolgirls. X user @HindutvaDon_ posted the clip on X. The post amassed more than 50,000 views and close to 1,000 re-shares at the time of this article being written. He claimed the three were Mohammad Arif, Asraf Ali and Asif Khan. This led us to an article by Dainik Bhaskar, published on April 16, which reports on the incident. According to the report, late into the night on April 16, some 10-12 miscreants, armed with sticks, knives and swords, pelted stones to vandalise houses windows and vehicles in the Dhanda Bhavan area of ​​Ujjain, in Madhya Pradesh. Police arrested three individuals and paraded them in the area. The report also mentions the name of the three accused who appear in the viral video: Kishan Ahirwar, Vikas Saroniya, and Vishal. Another report, by Navbharat Times, elucidates that the dispute had broken over something as trivial as a refusal to offer a car wash. The complainant, one Sheran Ali, had declined a car wash to the miscreants, citing time constraint. This resulted in a violent retaliation, culminating in the vandalism of vehicles and house windows late at night.
